The Core Group (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Argos trading software platform and customer portal at my.the-core-group.com. This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Account information — When you register, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, mailing address, time zone, and trading experience level.

Payment information — Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store credit card numbers or banking details on our servers. Stripe may retain payment data under its own privacy policy.

Usage data — We log your login activity, IP address, browser type, and interactions with the portal (e.g., downloads, subscription changes) to operate and improve the service.

NinjaTrader machine ID — To enforce software license terms, we collect the unique machine identifier that NinjaTrader 8 reports when you activate a license.

Communications — If you contact our support team, we retain the content of that correspondence.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provision and delivery of the software license and downloadable files
• Processing payments and managing your subscription
• Sending transactional emails (account verification, receipts, renewal notices, support replies)
• Marketing emails and SMS messages, only if you opted in during registration
• License enforcement and fraud prevention
• Responding to support requests
• Legal compliance obligations

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We share data with third parties only as necessary to operate the service:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe is a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider.
• Twilio SendGrid — transactional and marketing email delivery.
• Discord — optional community integration. Only your Discord ID is stored if you link your account.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer (e.g., financial transaction records).

5. Cookies

The portal uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels are used.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@the-core-group.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the GDPR including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Our services are intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the portal. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
